FOCAL FRAMEWORK ARCHITECT POSTER

The Focal Framework Architech Poster is an informational poster design about the Australian architect Jesse Judd. Judd is known for his usages of open space, continuity of line, and heavy texture throughout his designs.

The goal of this poster was to incorporate the ideas and practices that architect Jesse Judd uses when design buildings and applying that to a two-dimensional, informational poster about him.

I accomplished the correlation of Judd’s methods by creating a poster that mimicked themes often found in his work. I used an illustration of one of his most prolific buildings and emphasized the way he uses lines and open space to distinguish his buildings from the environment around them. I set the illustration, background, and information apart by utilizing strong color contrast between each element. Together the design represents the ideas that Judd strives for in his work.
